Wolfgang Reuther

Wolfgang Reuther (born September 18, 1963 in Stockach ) is a German politician ( CDU ) and was a member of the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg from 2011 to 2016 .

education and profession

Wolfgang Reuther was born and raised in Stockach, he attended the Nellenburg grammar school there between 1974 and 1983.

After graduating from high school , he went to the German Armed Forces in 1983 , where he underwent officer training for troop service. Between 1984 and 1987 he studied economics and organizational science at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich in Neubiberg , from which he graduated with a degree in business administration. The paratrooper was last company commander of an anti-parachute anti-tank company in Münsingen with the rank of captain . In 1995 he retired from active service.

He found his first job in 1995 as a controller and sales representative in a property developer and real estate office in Stockach. From 1996 to 1998 he completed further training as a real estate manager (VWA) at the Administration and Business Academy in Freiburg, whereupon he worked as a freelancer in a broker and appraisal office.

From 1999 to 2001 he completed training as a qualified expert (DIA) for developed and undeveloped land, rents and leases at the German Real Estate Academy in Freiburg and then worked as a real estate expert . In 2006 he trained as an international real estate appraiser (DIA) and has been an international appraiser since then .

politics

Reuther has been a member of the Stockach municipal council since July 2009, parliamentary group spokesman and first deputy mayor as well as a member of the CDU and a co-opted member of the board of the Stockach CDU branch. Since the same year he has been a member of the district board of the CDU SME Association in the Konstanz district. Since October 2011 he has been Deputy District Chairman of the CDU District Association of Konstanz.

In the 2011 state election to form the 15th Baden-Württemberg state parliament (2011-2016), he ran as a CDU candidate. On March 27, 2011, he received 40.1 percent of the vote. With this first mandate , he replaced Veronika Netzhammer as a member of the Singen state electoral district . He was engaged for the CDU parliamentary group in the Stuttgart state parliament in the committees for the environment, climate and energy management as well as rural areas and consumer protection . As an active hunter, he was also the hunting policy spokesman for the CDU parliamentary group.

In the 2016 state elections on March 13, 2016, Reuther was only 60 votes short of entering the Stuttgart state parliament; the direct mandate for the constituency Singen-Stockach went to Dorothea Wehinger ( Bündnis 90 / Die Grünen ).

Other offices

Reuther is a member of various associations, including the high gross cheap jester court to Stocken as a former jester judge and as club master of the Rotary Club A81-Bodensee-Engen.

Life

The divorced Catholic Reuther has two children.
