Dieter Kleinmann

Dieter Kleinmann (born April 20, 1953 in Stuttgart ) is a German politician ( FDP ) and Protestant pastor.

Life and work

After graduating from high school in Schorndorf , Dieter Kleinmann studied Protestant theology in Tübingen and Göttingen and until 1982 economics in Tübingen and Munich. In 1987 he became vicar in Sulz am Neckar . From 1993 to 1996 he was pastor in Sigmarswangen and Wittershausen . From 1996 to 2011 it belonged to the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg. Since March 2012 he has been working as a pastor at Messe Stuttgart and at Stuttgart Airport . Kleinmann is married and has two children. He lives in Stuttgart- Rohracker .

politics

In 1972 Kleinmann joined the FDP. From 1980 to 1984 he was a member of the Plüderhausen municipal council . In 1996 he was elected to the state parliament of Baden-Württemberg and was a member of the FDP state executive until 2011 . He represented constituency 53 - Rottweil and was chairman of the committee for science, research and art as well as media and development policy spokesman for the parliamentary group. In addition, Kleinmann belongs to the district council of the Rottweil district , in which he is chairman of the FDP parliamentary group. He is chairman of the FDP federal committee for churches, religious and ideological communities and the commission for liberals and churches in Baden-Württemberg. In the state election in 2011 he was not re-elected.
