The administrative community Boxberg / OL , Upper Sorbian Zarjadniske zjednoćenstwo Hamor , was an administrative community in the Free State of Saxony from 1992 to 2009 . The executing community was Boxberg / OL , which also included all member communities.

history

The administrative community Boxberg was founded on January 1, 1992 by the former communities Boxberg and Kringelsdorf . On January 1, 1996, the municipality Uhyst joined the administrative community when the district changed at the same time. Kringelsdorf left the administrative community as a municipality on April 1st of the same year.

The name change from the municipality of Boxberg to the municipality of Boxberg / OL in February 1999 was also carried out in the administrative community at the same time. After the Heidedörfer administrative association was dissolved at the end of the same year , the municipality of Klitten joined the administrative community.

On October 1, 2007, the communities Boxberg / OL and Uhyst merged. On February 1, 2009, the municipality of Klitten also joined the municipality of Boxberg / OL, as a result of which the administrative community dissolved. For both Uhyst and Klitten, Boxberg's favorable financial position and improved joint management of the Bärwalder See , where the borders of the three communities met, were reasons for the voluntary merger.
