In the administrative community of Lichtenberg in the Upper Franconian district of Hof , the following municipalities joined forces on January 1, 1980 to carry out their administrative business:

1. Issigau , 1011 inhabitants, 18.69 km²
2. Lichtenberg , city ​​with 1037 inhabitants, 9.47 km²

The administrative association is based in Lichtenberg.

Lichtenberg was part of the Bad Steben administrative community from May 1, 1978 to December 31, 1979 , while Issigau was a member of the Berg administrative community . Both mergers were dissolved on January 1, 1980.
