Vicky Maeijer

Vicky Maeijer (born September 7, 1986 in Rotterdam ) is a Dutch politician . It is close to the Partij voor de Vrijheid .

Life

Maeijer studied law at the Erasmus University Rotterdam . From 2007 to 2014 she was political assistant to the PVV MPs Raymond de Roon and Louis Bontes in the States General and in the European Parliament. At the same time she ran for the PVV on behalf of Geert Wilders and moved into the provincial states of the province of South Holland in 2011 as the PVV top candidate . She gave up this parliamentary seat when she was elected to the European Parliament in 2014 .

From July 1, 2014 to March 15, 2017 she was a member of the European Parliament . There she was a member of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs , the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality , the Delegation for relations with Japan and most recently the Committee on Budgets . She was registered as a substitute for the Committee on Transport and Tourism and in the delegation for relations with the PRC.

Since the elections on March 15, 2017 , she has been a member of the second chamber of the Dutch States General on behalf of the PVV . Like all parliamentary group colleagues, it was put up for the election of party member Wilders personally.
