Victoria Ohuruogu (born February 28, 1993 ) is a British sprinter who specializes in the 400-meter run and was particularly successful with the British 4-by-400-meter relay .
Athletic career
Victoria Ohuruogu gained her first international experience at the 2010 Youth Olympic Games in Singapore , where she came third in the B final. In 2014 she was part of the British relay for the World Indoor Championships in Sopot, Poland . She also helped the relay move into the open-air European championships in August 2014, winning a medal each time.
In 2015, she won the gold medal at the U23 European Championships in Tallinn, Estonia with the British relay team, which set a new U23 record of 3: 30.07 minutes there. In the following years she was unable to build on her achievements and did not qualify for any other major events.
She is the sister of two-time world champion and British record holder Christine Ohuruogu .
