Vierbaum is a district of the city of Rheinberg in the Wesel district in North Rhine-Westphalia . Until 1934, Vierbaum was an independent municipality in what was then the Moers district .

Vierbaum is located about five kilometers southeast of the Rheinberg core city on the Rheinberg city limits to Duisburg . The former municipality of Vierbaum, to which the Lohmühle settlement area also belonged, had an area of ​​4.26 km².

history

Since the 19th century, Vierbaum formed a rural community in the Budberg mayor's office ( Budberg's office from 1928 ). This belonged to the Geldern district until 1857 and to the Moers district since 1857. On July 1, 1934, Vierbaum was incorporated into the Budberg community . Budberg and Vierbaum were incorporated into the city of Rheinberg on January 1, 1975 by the Lower Rhine Act .
