Vietze is a district of the municipality of Höhbeck in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .
The village lies directly on the north flowing Elbe and the elevation of the Höhbeck . The Seege , a left tributary of the Elbe, flows southwest . The Laascher See extends to the south .
Vietze is the seat of the municipality of Höhbeck.

On July 1, 1972, Vietze was incorporated into the municipality of Höhbeck.
chapel
In the rectangular Gothic field stone building of the Protestant chapel, which is located outside the village, the walls of the portals and windows are made of brick . The carved altar is from the late Gothic period , the pulpit from 1686.
