Vijay Keshav Gokhale
Vijay Keshav Gokhale (born January 24, 1959 ) is an Indian diplomat .
In 1981 he joined the Indian Foreign Service . He is married to Vandana Gokhale and has one son. He was employed in the diplomatic service in Hong Kong , Hanoi , Beijing and New York . As Liaison Secretary, he was head of the East Asia and China Department in the Indian Foreign Ministry. From January 2010 to October 2013 he was High Commissioner in Kuala Lumpur ( Malaysia ). From October 24, 2013 to November 18, 2015 he was Indian ambassador to Germany. On November 18, 2015, he was appointed ambassador to Beijing.
