Viktor von Hacker

Viktor von Hacker (born October 21, 1852 in Vienna , † May 20, 1933 in Graz ) was an Austrian surgeon .

Hacker studied medicine in Vienna, where he received his doctorate in 1878. med. received his doctorate. He later became an assistant to Theodor Billroth (1829-1894).

He received his habilitation in 1888 . Then he was head of the Archduke Surgeon. Dept. of the Sophien Hospital in Vienna and from 1891 to 1894 Primarius of the General Polyclinic . In 1894/95 (appointed in 1894, appointed in 1895) he accepted a call as a full professor at the University of Innsbruck . From 1903 to 1924 he was a professor in Graz.

In 1927 Viktor von Hacker became an honorary member of the Society of Doctors in Vienna .
