Vilém Lugr (born June 28, 1911 in Poděbrady , † 1981 in Ostrava ) was a Czech football player and coach . Lugr worked as a trainer mainly in Poland and Sweden .
Player career
Lugr first played for the SK Olomouc and the SK Židenice . 1934 rose the defender with the SK Prostějov in the 1st Czechoslovak league. During the 1937/38 season, Lugr moved within the league to SK Slezká Ostrava , where he was also a coach for 20 days in January 1938. In the summer of 1939 the defender went back to Prostějov .
Lugr played in the 1st Czechoslovak League and in the championship of the Reich Protectorate of Bohemia and Moravia a total of 99 games, he did not score a goal.
Coaching career
In the 1954 season Lugr Křídla vlasti Olomouc trained in the 1st Czechoslovak League. In 1957 the Czech went to Poland, from August 1957 to November 1958 he trained in Lech Posen . In the 1959 season he was a coach at Śląsk Wrocław , from January to June 1960 he coached Górnik Zabrze .
In July 1960 Górnik went to Sweden, Lugr did not return with the team. In 1961 and 1962 he coached the Jönköpings Södra IF team in the second Swedish division . In 1963 he took over IFK Norrköping in Allsvenskan and became Swedish champions with the team. In 1967 Lugr Nyköpings trained BIS.
After his career, Lugr returned to Czechoslovakia. He died in Ostrava in autumn 1981 .
