Vilém Petrželka
Vilém Petrželka (born September 10, 1889 in Brno ; † January 10, 1967 there ) was a Czech composer.
Petrželka was a student of Leoš Janáček , Vítězslav Novák and Karel Hoffmeister . From 1914 he taught composition at the Conservatory, the Janáček Academy and the School of the Philharmonic Society in Brno.
He composed an opera and a symphonic drama, four symphonies and two sinfonietten , chamber music works, cantatas , choral works and songs .
