Vilko Filač
Vilko Filač (born February 14, 1950 in Ptuj , Slovenia ; † November 25, 2008 in Ljubljana , Slovenia) was a Slovenian cameraman .
Life
Vilko Filač studied at the Film and Television Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague . During his studies he met the future filmmaker Emir Kusturica , for whom he made his début as a cameraman in 1978 with his production of the television drama Nevjeste dolaze . It was the first of a total of seven films, including Die Zeit der Gigeuner , Arizona Dream and Underground , that Filač made for Kusturica until 1995.
