Villa Agnedo
Villa Agnedo (in the Trentino dialect: Vila e Gné ) was a north-eastern Italian municipality ( comune ) in Trentino in the Trentino-South Tyrol region until 2015 . The community was located about 31.5 kilometers east of Trento at an altitude of 356 mslm , belonged to the Comunità Valsugana e Tesino and bordered directly on the province of Vicenza . The administrative seat was in the district of Agnedo . The patron saints of Villa Agnendo were the Madonna and Fabianus .
On January 1, 2016, Villa Agnedo merged with the municipalities of Strigno and Spera to form the new municipality of Castel Ivano . On December 31, 2015, the municipality of Villa Agnedo had 955 inhabitants on an area of 14.1 km². The factions Agnedo, Oltrebrenta and Villa belonged to it. The neighboring municipalities were Asiago ( VI ), Castelnuovo , Ivano-Fracena , Ospedaletto , Scurelle and Strigno.
