Ivano-Francena (in the Trentino dialect: Castèlo de Ivàn , German outdated: Yfän ) is a fraction of the municipality ( comune ) Castel Ivano and was an independent municipality in Trentino in the Trentino-South Tyrol region until June 30, 2016 .

The place is located about 31.5 kilometers east of Trento at an altitude of 452 mslm on the orographic left side of the valley in the Sugan Valley and belongs to the valley community Comunità Valsugana e Tesino .
