description

Villa Ernst Berthold (1903)
Right: Dr.-Schmincke-Allee 8 (1907). Villa Ernst Berthold diagonally to the left above

The larger two-storey villa, which is now a listed building, is located on a corner property facing Meißner Straße. The elaborate plastered building stands on a broken stone base, it has a flattened hipped roof . At the street corner, the building shows a square, three-story tower with a square hood .

The two street views are designed differently. The five-axis main view of Meißner Straße with a three-axis central projection originally had an attic , which today is a roof house. In the middle of the upper floor there is a balcony with a grille on sandstone consoles . In the street view towards Wasastraße, a two-storey veranda has been removed; the window / door combination can still be seen on the upper floor. In the left side view, the entrance is in a staircase porch, protected by a glass roof on cast iron consoles.

The facades are framed by corner blocks and decorated with ornaments under the windows. The windows have walls made of sandstone and roofs .

Which also listed enclosure consists of elaborate iron fence fields between iron posts.
