Villa Johanna (Altenahr)
The Villa Johanna in Altenahr , a local community in the Ahrweiler district in northern Rhineland-Palatinate , was built in 1892. The villa at Tunnelstrasse 17, with a view of the Ahr , is a protected cultural monument .
The Fabry family, who ran a hotel in what is now Altenahr's town hall, had the villa built on the slope below the ruins of Are Castle . In 1992 a private individual bought the house from the Mayschoss-Altenahr wine cooperative , which had meanwhile become the owner of the building.
The three-storey quarry stone, partially carried out with brick, has a corner oriel and another bay in the center of the first floor on the street.
