Villa Rustica (Klingenbach)
The Villa Rustica near Klingenbach in Burgenland was a Roman manor from the time of the Romans . In the place called "Zelendrava" on the western outskirts, on the municipality border to Zagersdorf , architectural parts , bricks, pottery shards and coins from this time were found. The found coins are exhibited in the Museum Carnuntinum in Bad Deutsch-Altenburg .
Roman graves along the former Roman road from the former Scarbantia ( Sopron ) to Vindobona (today's Vienna ) bear witness to the settlement at that time.
