The Villa Scheibe is a residential building in Munich . The villa is located at Heilmannstraße 31 in the villa colony of Prinz-Ludwigs-Höhe in the Thalkirchen district of Munich . The building is registered as an architectural monument in the Bavarian list of monuments.

history

The ENT doctor Arno Scheibe bought the property in 1898 from Jakob Heilmann , the founder of the villa colony. The architect Gustav Rühl drew up plans for the house, but these were heavily modified before they were implemented in 1899. Since the local building commission had no reservations about the original plans, these changes are probably due to the client's wishes.

The villa consists of two two-storey wings arranged perpendicular to each other with a gable roof protruding far . It takes up a total area of about 10 × 11 meters. The house has a concrete base about 1.50 meters high, above which the ground floor rises with a plastered and painted white wall. A staircase with a canopy leads to the entrance on the west side. The ground floor windows on the west side are provided with wrought iron bars. The upper floor and the attic are made of wood and decorated with carvings and protruding dragon heads. A wooden balcony runs around the wing protruding to the south, and the top floor also has a balcony on the south side.

Villa Scheibe is one of the few villas in the Prinz-Ludwigs-Höhe that has preserved its original condition undisturbed.
