Villa rustica (Egling an der Paar)

The villa rustica in the district of Egling an der Paar , a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Landsberg am Lech , was discovered in 1955 on the eastern edge during construction work. The villa rustica is a protected ground monument .

Remains of three tuff stone walls, a heating duct made of tegulae and mortar fragments were found.

To the south of it, late Roman body graves were discovered in a gravel pit in 1907 with additions which, with the exception of a terra sigillata bowl, are considered lost.
