Villa rustica 2 (Vachendorf)

The villa rustica 2 on the district of Vachendorf , a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Traunstein , was discovered by numerous reader finds in the 1990s. The villa rustica of the Roman Empire is located about 350 meters northeast of the Church of the Assumption of Mary in Vachendorf. It is a protected ground monument .

There were brooches , coins, Samian ware found, finger rings and a late antique Small bronze.

A sounding carried out in 2001 revealed the remains of the wall and other settlement finds.
