Vincent Winter

Vincent Winter (born December 29, 1947 in Aberdeen , Scotland , † November 2, 1998 in Chertsey , England ) was a British actor who became known as a child star.

Life

Vincent Winter was born on December 29, 1947 in Aberdeen, Scotland. His first role in the film Besiegter Hass (original title: The (Little) Kidnappers ) he played in 1953/54 at the age of six. For this role, Vincent Winter was awarded the Juvenile Award , an honorary Oscar for youth actors awarded at the time, at the Academy Awards in 1955, together with Jon Whiteley, who was three years older than him. By 1964, Winter had appeared in a total of ten films, and like many child stars, he did not continue his adult career. Instead, Winter worked as a production manager , film producer and assistant director on numerous films.

On November 2, 1998, Winter died of a heart attack in Chertsey, England, at the age of 50 .
