Storm in the Willows (Original title: The Wind in the Willows ) is a British adventure comedy by Monty Python member Terry Jones from 1996 . It is a free adaptation of the children's book classic The Wind in the Pastures by Kenneth Grahame .

One day the mole Mole is driven out of his home by the weasels when they plow his meadow in the meanest way. He finds refuge with water rat Ratty. Before it's too late, they want to warn the toad, Mr. Toad, the wealthy owner of the area. You don't come in time: The weasels awakened Mr. Toad's passion for expensive sports cars and drove him into a mountain of debt. The three victims realize that they will soon be homeless.
