Vincentius Massoni

Vincent Massoni (* 22. January 1808 in Rome , Papal States ; † 3. June 1857 ) was a Roman Catholic archbishop and diplomat of the Holy See .

Life

Vincentius Massoni received the sacrament of ordination for the diocese of Rome on September 18, 1830 .

On June 19, 1856, Pope Pius IX appointed him . the Titular Archbishop of Edessa in Osrhoene . Pius IX donated him episcopal ordination on July 6th of the same year . On September 26, 1856, Pius IX appointed him. to the Apostolic Internuncio in Brazil . Vincentius Massoni was also an Apostolic Delegate in Argentina , Chile , Paraguay and Uruguay .
