Vincenzo Gicca Palli

Vincenzo Gicca Palli (often given as first name Lorenzo ; * 1929 in Rome , † 1997 ibid) was an Italian screenwriter and film director .

Life

Gicca Palli initially studied law and from the early 1960s worked as a scenarioist and screenwriter for many genre films by the Cinecittà . From 1968 onwards he directed five films himself; the best known of these is the comedic pirate film Buccaneers of the Seas with Terence Hill and Bud Spencer . Under the pseudonym Vincent Thomas , he also shot a Nazi exploitation film and a spaghetti western .
