Vision Parade 2004

The Vision Parade was a techno parade in Bremen , it was modeled on the Berlin Love Parade . The Vision Parade ran annually from 2002 to 2006 on Bremen's Osterdeich along the banks of the Weser .

Around 30 trucks with sound systems and structures comparable to discos played techno, house and jungle music. The public address systems were fed electrically by generators. Usually a DJ mixed the pieces of music together on a DJ desk with turntables. In some cases, especially on wagons with jungle music, there were MCs who cheered the partiers on with the help of a microphone and rap-like chanting.

Historical

The Vision Parade was initiated by Kolja Beckmann and carried out for the first time on June 22, 2002. From 2003 the parade was carried out by a company founded for this purpose. The Vision Parade was the further development of the “Vision Park” event.

Vision Parade 2004

The traditional closing event of the parade was the “Vision Park”, which was held at different locations. It took place in the Bremen town hall in 2002 and reached its largest size in 2004 in the Bremen Weser Stadium.

Although the visitor information typically for techno parades varies greatly depending on the source (organizer / police / press) as well as for the Love Parade, the Vision Parade in Bremen belonged to the lack of the Union Moves ( Munich ) with the Love Parade ( Berlin ), the Generation Move ( Kiel ) and the Reincarnation Parade ( Hanover ) to one of the four major German techno parades.

There has been no Vision Parade since 2007, as the city of Bremen no longer contributed to the costs and the sponsorship situation made it impossible to hold it.
