Visky (noble family)

The Visky family is an old Hungarian noble family that has its roots in Transylvania .

history

The family owned estates and lands in Szolnok-Doboka County and the County Cluj .

The aristocratic family Visky had a high political and economic reputation in Transylvania at the beginning of 1650 and were therefore loyal supporters of the Prince of Transylvania . At the beginning of 1680 Joannes Visky fled Transylvania because of the Ottoman invasion and devastation of the country. It is possible that his two daughters Maria and Eve were enslaved by the Ottomans. He settled in Neutra County and called himself Visky de Vitkócz. His brothers and relatives stayed in Transylvania. His descendants settled in Hont and Heves county in early 1700 .

Thus, the aristocratic family is widely branched and called themselves Visky de Vitkócz, Visky de Rettegi, Visky de Felsö-Töök and Visky de Rööd.

This noble family is related to noble families like denn Bory , Sambokréty, Rudnyánszky, Sirmiensis , Marsovszky, Kolecsany, Sántha, Ovary, Desericzky, Csiffáry and the patrician family Turay.
