Vito LoGrasso , (born June 18, 1969 in Staten Island , New York ) also known as Big Vito or simply Vito , is an American wrestler who has worked for the WWE , WCW , ECW and TNA .

Career

LoGrasso grew up in Brooklyn and was a huge wrestling fan even as a child. He idolized Bruno Sammartino and wanted to take up the profession of wrestler himself. He finally started training with Johnny Rodz in Brooklyn in 1991. He spent eight years competing in smaller leagues on every continent in order to get closer to his big goal of being involved in a big league.

In 1998 he got a chance at Extreme Championship Wrestling . In this league he made a name for himself as Skull Von Krush . He later got the name Vito "The Skull" LoGrasso and became a member of the Stables Da Baldies , which consisted of PN News , Tony DeVito , Spanish Angel , Redd Dogg and Vic Grimes .

In 1999 LoGrasso left ECW and went to World Championship Wrestling (WCW), where he appeared as Big Vito , winning both the WCW Hardcore Championship title and, with his partner Johnny The Bull , the WCW World Tag Team Championship . After WCW was taken over by the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE), LoGrasso was active in independent leagues for a while before moving to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling in 2004 .

At TNA, LoGrasso formed the New York Connection together with Glenn Gilberti , Trinity and Johnny Swinger . His only feud was with Pat Kenney , as he left TNA in 2005 and signed a contract with WWE.

He made his WWE debut on August 6 on the B show Velocity . There he helped Nunzio win the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. Eventually, the FBI (Full Blooded Italians) tag team was formed with the two of them. After a feud against Gregory Helms , the team separated again in 2006.

LoGrasso then got the gimmick of a transsexual , but from 2007 was only active for the WWE development league Deep South Wrestling . There he won the DSW Heavyweight Championship and made another gimmick change. In May 2007, he was released from the WWE.

Today LoGrasso continues to compete as an independent wrestler.
