Vittorio Longo

Vittorio Longo (born June 12, 1901 in Naples , Italy ; † November 7, 1974 ) was an Italian clergyman and Roman Catholic auxiliary bishop in Naples .

Life

Vittorio Longo received on 11 June 1927, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On January 23, 1956, Pope Pius XII appointed him . as titular bishop of Loryma and auxiliary bishop in Naples. The Archbishop of Naples, Cardinal Marcello Mimmi , donated him episcopal ordination on April 22nd of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the coadjutor archbishop of Naples, Alfonso Castaldo , and the bishop of Ruvo and Bitonto , Aurelio Marena .

Longo attended all four sessions of the Second Vatican Council .
