Vitus Müller
Vitus Müller (born July 24, 1561 in Bülnheim ; † August 21, 1626 in Tübingen ) was a German Protestant theologian and philologist and professor at the University of Tübingen .
Life
Vitus Müller was pastor in Bühl near Tübingen in 1586 , professor of the Latin and Greek languages (presumably at the pedagogy) in 1587, professor of Aristotle's organon and of ethics in Tübingen, Magister domus of the Tübingen monastery from 1592–1616 . His portrait, painted by Johann Philipp Greter in 1604 , and a very similar oil painting from 1606 hang in the Tübingen professors' gallery .
