Vladas Terleckas

Vladas Terleckas (born September 13, 1939 in Krivasalis near Saldutiškis , Ignalina Rajongemeinde ) is a Lithuanian politician.

Life

From 1946 to 1951 he learned in Krivasalis and from 1951 to 1958 Linkmenys with Ignalina . In 1958 and 1959 he tried to get to the Vilniaus universitetas (VU) and the Vilniaus pedagoginis institutas , but because of the anti-Soviet activities of his brother Antanas Terleckas (* 1928) he was not accepted, although he passed the entrance exams well. From 1959 to 1961 he worked in Kazakhstan and Karelia . From 1961 to 1966 he completed his degree in economics and banking at VU. From 1967 he taught at the finance department at VU. In 1976 he received his doctorate in Leningrad at the Financial Institute . From 1991 to 1993 he was an advisor to Lietuvos bankas and from 1990 to 1992 a member of Seimas .
