Vlatko Paskačić ( Serbian - Cyrillic Влатко Паскачић ; † after 1365) was a Serbian Knes in Macedonia , who under Tsar Stefan Uroš V carried the high dignity of a Sebastokrator .

Life

Vlatko was the son of Paskač , a magnate under Stefan Uroš IV. Dušan , and the Ozra . With his wife Vladislava he had sons Stefan , Uroš and Uglješa Vlatković . Together with his father he founded the Psača monastery near Rankovce around 1354 , which was given to Athos .

In the 1360s, Vlatko ruled the Slavište County , roughly the area between Vranje in Serbia and Kriva Palanka in Macedonia, as a vassal of the powerful despots Vukašin and Uglješa Mrnjavčević . After the death of the despot Dejan around 1365 he was used by the Mrnjavčevići as caretaker over his domains between Vardar and Struma , since Dejan's sons and legal heirs Jovan and Konstantin Dragaš were still too young. It is not known when and under what circumstances he died.
