The Vlissingen is a double - hulled tanker that is used for bunkering seagoing vessels in the ARA ports (Antwerp-Rotterdam-Amsterdam).
The hull was built in Mykolaiv / Ukraine , and it was completed in the Netherlands at the Bodewes shipyard in Millingen am Rhein . The construction costs of the ship, which was commissioned on April 10, 2003 as the largest inland tanker in Europe, amounted to almost 10 million euros.

The nautical equipment corresponds to the state of the art with two color radars , an autopilot and various radio and telephone equipment .
