The Vlissingen is a double - hulled tanker that is used for bunkering seagoing vessels in the ARA ports (Antwerp-Rotterdam-Amsterdam).

The hull was built in Mykolaiv / Ukraine , and it was completed in the Netherlands at the Bodewes shipyard in Millingen am Rhein . The construction costs of the ship, which was commissioned on April 10, 2003 as the largest inland tanker in Europe, amounted to almost 10 million euros.
