The Vogelstockerhof is a hamlet that belongs to the local community of Eusserthal in the southern Weinstrasse district in Rhineland-Palatinate .

The Vogelstockerhof is located on the south-eastern edge of the Eusserthal district in the Middle Palatinate Forest . Not far from it flows the Dernbach , which forms the boundary to Albersweiler in this area and joins the Eusserbach to the Eisbach a few hundred meters further . The 386-meter-high Große Eischkopf , the hamlet Am Igelweiher and the districts of the local community of Dernbach and the town of Annweiler am Trifels are also in the immediate vicinity . Already in the area of the latter, the listed Gut Waldeck is not far from the Vogelstockerhof .
history
The history of the Vogelstockerhof goes back to the 14th century; initially it was an economic property of the nearby Eusserthal monastery . In 1928 it had three residents who lived in a residential building. The inhabitants, all of them Catholics, belonged to the parish of Eusserthal at the time. A large area once belonged to the farm itself, most of which was sold in the course of the 20th century.
Infrastructure
The Vogelstockerhof now functions as a hotel, beer garden and horse breeding business. It has a bus stop on bus line 521, which connects the place with Landau in der Pfalz , Frankweiler , Albersweiler , Eusserthal , Dernbach and Ramberg .
