Volga-Flot-Tur ( Russian Волга-Флот-Тур , English Volga-Flot-Tour Travel Company ) is a Russian river cruise company. The subsidiary of the Russian Volga shipping company , based in Nizhny Novgorod , travels the Neva and Volga from Saint Petersburg to Astrakhan as well as the Kama and Don with its ships .

The enterprise

Founded in 1999, Volga-Flot-Tur is one of the largest river cruise line operators in Russia. The fleet consists of the only SPA-4-deck river cruise ship in Russia, Mikhail Frunze , and four 4-deck river cruise ships manufactured in Austria ( Fyodor Shalyapin , Semyon Budyonnyy , Georgiy Zhukov and Aleksandr Pushkin ) of the Intourist class, the modernized SPA-3 -Decks river cruise ship Kapitan Pushkaryov, as well as excursion ships: a motor ship catamaran Otdykh-1 , Moskva-13 and Moskva-72 . In October 2011, UCL Holding announced that Vodohod, Vodohod-Saint-Petersburg and Volga-Flot-Tur would be merged under the single trademark Vodohod (“ВодоходЪ”), which will then operate half of Russia's river cruise ships. The jobs and office workplaces of the Volga-Flot-Tur will be retained.

The Volga Flot Tur ships sailed under the Russian flag, owned by the Volga shipping company (Wolschskoje Parochodstwo), OOO Vodohod and their home port was Nizhny Novgorod .
