Volkan Kahraman (born October 10, 1979 in Vienna ) is an Austrian footballer of Turkish descent.

Career

Born in Vienna, Kahraman began his career with the youth of FK Austria Wien . After very successful games in the youth, the then super talent was handed over to the youth of Feyenoord Rotterdam . At the age of 17 he made his debut on the Feyenoord fighting team. He had a total of three short assignments. His next club was the Feyenoord satellite club, SC Excelsior . The midfielder then moved to Trabzonspor in Turkey . After Trabzonspor he played for Erzurumspor. In 2002 I went back to Austria , the country of birth . Kahraman moved to FC Superfund and a year later, after strong performances, to Austria Vienna. After he was only on the bench at Austria, he suffered the same fate at his next club Austria Salzburg . In January 2004 he went to Skoda Xanthi in Greece . After he was only allowed to sit on the bench in Greece, Kahraman came back to Austria to LASK Linz . After a short stay with Pasching in spring 2005, he played for the Linzers before moving to Schwadorf before the 2006/2007 season. In the spring he moved to SC Eisenstadt and finally to First Vienna FC 1894 in July 2007 . There he was released from the squad in early 2008. In summer 2008 he went to the traditional Viennese club FavAC (Favoritener Athletik-Club). From spring 2009 he was in the Burgenland regional league at UFC Purbach, where he not only worked as a player but also as a team manager. Then he moved to the newly founded club SK Besiktas Vienna and marched with them, with a brief guest appearance at 1. Simmeringer SC, up to the Oberliga A (as of June 2014) and worked there as a trainer of the combat team until the 2014/2015 season. Since the 2015/2016 season he has been a coach at the newly founded club FC Karabakh Wien (formerly SC Kaiserebersdorf and Srbija 08).

Kahraman played three times for the Austrian national team. He made his debut in the friendly international match against Switzerland in Basel on August 21, 2002, which was lost 3-2.
