Volker Ebers
Volker Ebers (born July 21, 1935 in Hamburg ; † November 4, 2010 near Stade ) was a German church musician .
Ebers studied church music at the Schleswig-Holstein church music school ( A-exam ) and school music in Hamburg. From 1967 he worked as a church musician at the Friedenskirche Düsseldorf . Until 1977 he was a lecturer for organ playing at the regional church music school . In 1977 he was appointed church music director . From 1982 to 2000 he worked as regional church music director of the Evangelical Church in the Rhineland . In addition to his work as an organist, he also played the harpsichord and the recorder .
