The Volksbank Dusseldorf Neuss eG was end of April 2001 from the Dusseldorf eG and Volksbank eG Neuss. The cooperative bank is based in the financial center of Düsseldorf . The business area with 23 branches extends over the cities of Düsseldorf, Neuss, Ratingen, Kaarst, Dormagen and Grevenbroich.
history
The bank was founded in 1881 as the Lohausen-Stockumer loan association. After the main branch on the rural outskirts of Düsseldorf, more savings and loan funds were gradually founded. This was followed by Volmerswerth (1884), Himmelgeist (1889), Kalkum (1895), Wittlaer (1896) and Rath (1902). In 1977 the branches were opened in Raiffeisenbank Düsseldorf eG. 13 years later it merged with the Düsseldorfer Volksbank and the Wirtschaftsbank to create the Düsseldorfer Bank eG. The various savings and loan associations Neukirchen, Rosellen, Straberg and Nievenheim initially flowed into Raiffeisenbank Nievenheim, which in turn merged with Volksbank Neuss. In 2001 the institutes merged to form Volksbank Düsseldorf Neuss.
Test results
In the 03/2008 annual test of the Stiftung Warentest , Volksbank Düsseldorf Neuss eG was the best regional provider of real estate loans.
Subsidiaries
Volksbank Düsseldorf Neuss eG, together with Vereinigte Volksbank Münster , Münchener Hypothekenbank , WL Bank , R + V Versicherung , DSL Bank and Hypoport, are founding shareholders of Genopace GmbH. Genopace offers Volksbanken and Raiffeisenbanken the possibility to sell private real estate financing with a web-based platform.
