Manufacturers of transistor amplifiers for guitarists include Roland , Peavey and Laney . The first manufacturer of hybrid amps was Hughes & Kettner . The first manufacturer of modeling amplifiers was Line 6 . In the meantime, many manufacturers (including those mentioned) offer models with different technologies, for example Hughes & Kettner builds amplifiers in all four designs.
