Voluntary Organizations in Cooperation in Emergencies (VOICE) is a European umbrella organization of various non-governmental organizations in the field of civil protection , humanitarian aid and conflict resolution , based in Brussels .

Emergence

In 1992 the secretariat of the "Committee of European Development NGOs" was set up; from March 2001 it became an independent organization with more than 90 members.

Members

German-speaking member organizations are CARE Austria , Caritas Austria , Hilfswerk Austria , SOS-Kinderdorf International, World Vision Austria , ADRA - Adventist Development and Relief Agency Germany, ASB - Arbeiter-Samariter-Bund , CARE Germany-Luxembourg , CARITAS Germany, Diakonisches Werk der EKD (Diakonie Emergency Aid), JUH - Johanniter-Unfall-Hilfe , Malteser International , medico international , Plan International Germany, Welthungerhilfe , World Vision Germany , Lutheran World Federation / DWS and Medair (EU CORD).
