The Vordere Wildgundkopf is a 1935 m high mountain peak in the Allgäu Alps . It lies almost exactly in the middle of the Himmelschrofenzug and delimits the pastureland of the former Hinteren Ringersgundalpe in the south with its ridge trending southeast. South of the Vorderen Wildgundkopf lies the Hintere Wildgundkopf .
Ascent
There is no officially marked path to the Vorderen Wildgundkopf. Some of the trails shown on the maps are well-kept and marked, but some are in decline. It can be reached either from the north from the area of the Hinteren Ringersgundalpe or from the south from the Hinteren Wildgundkopf. Both climbs require surefootedness and mountain experience in pathless terrain, as well as climbing ability from I-II .

The Vordere Wildgundkopf is the habitat of the adder , as is the area of the former Ringersgundalpe.
