The Vornberger Glacier is a 16 km long glacier on the Siple Island off the Bakutis coast of the West Antarctic Marie Byrd Land . It drains the north side of the island and flows into the Getz Ice Shelf .
The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named him in 2003 after the glaciologist Patricia Vornberger (* 1961) from NASA , a specialist in the evaluation of remote sensing data for the observation of ice movement in West Antarctica since the 1980s.
