The Vorrappenief (Danish Fartrap Dyb , North Frisian Föörtrepjip ) is a tidal creek that begins between the islands of Amrum and Sylt and runs through the North Frisian Wadden Sea to the southwest between Amrum and the Jungnamensand . The pre-tapping low is the extension of the horny low . It has depths of up to 17 meters; 42 meters were measured in the transition to the Hörnumtief. The side arms Jungnamesloch, Holtknobloch and Theeknobrinne are up to 14 meters deep. The beacon of the Norddorf lighthouse serves as a beacon and cross- mark beacon for the Vorrapptief fairway.
