Vytautas Galvonas

Vytautas Galvonas (born April 8, 1958 in Anykščiai , † June 26, 2015 in Alytus ) was a Lithuanian manager and politician , Seimas member and vice minister of finance.

Life

After graduating from high school from 1965 to 1976, he completed his diploma in radio physics at the physics faculty of the Vilniaus universitetas in 1981 . From 1993 to 1997 he was General Director of UAB “Ogmios Astra”, from 2003 to 2004 adviser to the Lithuanian President Rolandas Paksas , from 2004 to 2012 member of Seimas , from 2006 member of Tvarka ir teisingumas and 2003 member of the Vilnius City Council . In 2011 he was elected to the council of the Anykščiai district council. From 2013 to July 2014 he was Deputy Minister of Finance of Lithuania as deputy of Rimantas Šadžius in the Butkevičius cabinet . Galvonas was put on the "black list" of the Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė and should leave politics.

Galvonas was married. He and his wife had two children, a daughter and a son.

He died in an air accident at Alytus airfield .

Sports

From 1981 to 1986 he was a member of the Lithuanian national aerobatic team. In 1985 he became aerobatic sports champion of the Soviet Union . In 2004 he became the Lithuanian A category aerobatic master. From 2014 to 2015 he was President of the Lietuvos akrobatinio skraidymo federacija association .
