Vytautas Janonis
Vytautas Janonis (born July 18, 1948 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian architect and politician.
Life
In 1971 he completed a diploma course at the Kauno politechnikos institutas . From 1971 to 1992 he worked at the Institute for Communal Utility Planning in Vilnius , from 1992 to 1995 and from 2000 to 2003 he was chief architect and project manager at “Druskininkų projektas”. From 1995 to 1997 he was mayor of Druskininkai , from 1997 to 2001 Deputy Environment Minister of Lithuania , from 2003 project manager at “Kauno komprojektas”.
From 1991 he was a member of Lietuvos krikščionių Demokratieų partija .
He is married. With Mrs. Marytė he has the son Rimantas and the daughter Rūta.
