The Waschebach is a brook in the southeast of Warstein , district of Soest . It is a good five kilometers long, right and southeastern tributary of the Wester (in the upper reaches also called Wäster). After the confluence with the threshold brook, the brook is called Range .

geography

course

The Waschebach rises in the Arnsberg Forest and flows off to the north. In the meantime it disappears in a ponor in the southeast of the nature reserve Liethöhle and stream shrinkage of the laundry stream and east of the commercial area Erkenbruch. It reappears a little further northwest. About 200 meters further west, the threshold brook also disappears in a ponor. Under the name Range it flows further down in Warstein into the Wester, still called Wäster there .
