Wöhningen is a district of Bergen an der Dumme in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony . The place is two kilometers northwest of the core town of Bergen an der Dumme and directly on the 480 hectare nature reserve Schnegaer Mühlenbachtal . The Schnegaer Mühlengraben flows through the village .

On July 1, 1972 Wöhningen was incorporated into the municipality of Bergen an der Dumme.
