The Wüppelser Tief is a 3.5 km long deep in the municipality of Wangerland in the district of Friesland in the north of Lower Saxony .

The watercourse in the Jeverland , through which the inland water ultimately flows into the North Sea , emerges from the Neuwarfer Leide . It then flows in a north-easterly direction past Wüppels and flows into the Crildumer Tief at Crildumersiel . This flows into the Hohenstief and this in turn into the Wangertief , which eventually flows into the North Sea at Horumersiel .

In earlier times the low was mainly used for drainage and as a traffic route, today it is also used for recreational sports such as paddling and fishing .
