The Crildumer Tief is a low in the municipality of Wangerland in the district of Friesland in the north of Lower Saxony .

The approximately 12 kilometers long and 12 to 15 meters wide watercourse in Jeverland , through which inland water flows into the North Sea , begins at the Tettenser Tief . The Crildumer Tief then flows in a north-easterly direction past Waddewarden , takes up the southern connection deep and flows past Hooksiel . It takes up the Wüppelser Tief from the left and flows into the Hohenstief one kilometer east of St. Joost from the south . This flows into the Wangertief , which finally pours into the North Sea at Horumersiel .

In earlier times the low was mainly used for drainage and as a traffic route, today it is also used for recreational sports such as paddling and fishing .
