course

From the Maxbrücke the Würzburger Straße leads over the Rednitz , past the Kulturforum and over the underground station Stadthalle on the U1 line until it is dedicated to the B8 .

Then it crosses the Scherbsgraben and briefly leads to the billing facility. To the south it is a two - lane one - way street towards the city center. It is then called Hochstraße between the billing system of the St. Martin church. The Christkönig church and the Fürth-Unterfarrnbach stop on the S1 S-Bahn line on the Nuremberg – Bamberg line are located above the Klinikum underground station . From here the street is on Hardhöhe . Well -known companies such as Uvex , Siemens and Atos are located here . After Nuremberg Airport was destroyed in World War II, a temporary airport was set up here, which was operated from 1950 to 1955.

After Hardhöhe, south of Würzburger Straße, there is the Hardhöhe West industrial park. Companies such as the food retailers Norma and Ebl-Naturkost are located there . It then crosses the Main-Danube Canal and the Nuremberg – Würzburg railway line . Shortly before the Fürth-Burgfarrnbach / Hardhöhe exit of the Südwesttangente , Würzburger Straße turns off to Burgfarrnbach and is no longer dedicated to the B8.
